Three ways to save a trip

Log mileage the way your day actually works.

Mile Tracker stays focused: three clean ways to record a trip, depending on how automatic or hands-on you want the experience to be.

Auto Trip Detection

Let the app detect driving in the background and start building the trip for you.

Live Trip Recording

Start a trip yourself when you want full live visibility while you drive.

Manual Add Trip

Backfill past mileage when you need to add a trip after the fact.

Beyond trip capture

Keep the rest of the admin under control.

Mile Tracker also helps you stay ahead of follow-ups, understand your records faster, and keep spending attached to the work that created it.

Stay ahead of important reminders

Keep recurring tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups visible before they become last-minute work.

Get clarity from your data faster

Use AI to turn saved trips and records into answers, instead of manually digging through screens.

Keep expenses tied to the work

Attach spending to the trips behind it so your records stay cleaner and easier to trust later.

Questions & answers

Everything a mileage log should answer.

Straight answers about how Mile Tracker tracks, classifies and reports your business mileage.

Does Mile Tracker track my trips automatically?

Yes. With Auto Trip Detection on, Mile Tracker notices when you start driving and records the whole journey in the background, so there is no button to remember. Prefer control? Start a trip yourself for live tracking, or add a past trip by hand.

Is the mileage log ready for HMRC?

Every trip stores the date, start and end location, distance and business purpose, which is what an HMRC mileage claim needs. Set your own rate per mile, including the 45p/25p approved mileage allowance, and export PDF or CSV reports for your accountant, employer or Self Assessment.

Can I separate business and personal trips?

Yes. Swipe a trip to classify it as business or personal. Set your working hours and Mile Tracker classifies weekday drives for you, so a month of driving takes a minute to sort out.

Does it work with Apple Watch, widgets and Siri?

Yes. Start and stop trips from Apple Watch, keep today’s miles on a Home Screen widget, follow an active trip on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and say “Hey Siri, start a trip” to drive off hands-free.

Is Mile Tracker free?

Mile Tracker is free to download and use. The free plan includes one vehicle, up to 100 trips and up to 100 transactions. Pro unlocks unlimited trips and transactions, trip automation, advanced report exports, multiple vehicles, more reminders and extended AI assistant use. Pricing is shown in the app and varies by country.

How do I export a mileage report?

Open the Trips tab, tap Export, pick a date range and a format (PDF or CSV), and share the report with yourself, your employer or your accountant straight from your iPhone.

Who is Mile Tracker for?

Self-employed sole traders claiming mileage, delivery, courier and private-hire drivers, tradespeople, estate agents, carers and sales reps who drive between sites, employees claiming mileage from their employer, and anyone who wants an honest record of where their car went.

Which countries and languages does Mile Tracker support?

Mile Tracker works in miles or kilometres with your own currency and rate, with regional defaults for the UK (HMRC), US (IRS), Australia (ATO), Canada (CRA), Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The app is available in English, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian.

Keep the miles. Drop the busywork.

Mile Tracker is designed to stay quiet while you drive and useful when you need your records.
